Everything Henderson new-home buyers ask us about painting before move-in.
Yes — that's the core of what we do. An empty new build paints fast because there's nothing to move or mask except floors and fixtures. Most single-story homes take a few days; larger two-story plans a bit longer. Tell us your closing date and we'll tell you exactly what fits in your window.
It happens constantly with new construction, and our schedule is built for it. When your builder pushes the date, your paint dates move with it. You don't lose your place or start over.
No. Interior paint is a normal owner improvement and doesn't touch anything structural. We document wall condition when we start, so if normal drywall settlement cracks appear in the first year, it's clear they're the builder-warranty items they've always been. Many clients have us back after the builder's settlement repairs to blend the patches into the new color.
You can, but you'll choose from a limited color card months before the house is built, and design-center upgrades carry design-center pricing. Painting right after close gets you the full color deck, quality paint in washable finishes, and colors chosen while standing in the actual rooms.
Quality Sherwin-Williams products, with finishes matched to each room — washable matte or eggshell in living areas and bedrooms, satin in kitchens, baths, and laundry rooms. Every color change gets two full coats; that's what proper coverage takes and we don't skip it.
It's a thin coat of flat, contractor-grade white chosen for speed and cost. Flat paint at that grade can't be wiped clean — scrubbing burnishes a shiny mark into the wall — and it scuffs the day the movers arrive. It's a placeholder, not a finish.
Yes. Tall entries and open-to-below walls are standard in newer Henderson floor plans, especially in Inspirada, and our crews do that ladder and pole work routinely as part of the whole-home job.
Not at all. The empty window is ideal, not required. We paint furnished newer homes too; we just bring full masking and floor protection and sequence room by room so the house stays livable.
Interior colors are entirely yours — HOA color rules in communities like Cadence, Inspirada, and Anthem apply to exteriors. The only HOA factor we manage is working within any posted rules on contractor hours.
